Here we introduce Patrick, one of our club members. Patrick is our in-house computer expert who maintains our printer and laptop computers. Here he shares a little more about himself.
I am an 83 year old retired computer engineer and have been retired for about 22 years.
I live on my own in Dunstable with my Labrador hearing dog Zen.
I am President of Dunstable Downs Rotary Club and Treasurer and volunteer for Dunstable Good Neighbours. I am a volunteer for BRCC and teach people skills for using mobile phones, tablets and laptops twice a week.
Additionally I am a volunteer for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and can do talks for them. I still fix computers for people and help people set up smart televisions. As you know I provide computer support for the Hayward Club.
I love travel and have been around the world twice since 2002 and have visited Australia 6 times and New Zealand 4 times. My partner sadly died 2 years ago from cancer after we had some incredible adventures.
